I request that you fill out a Health History form when you arrive. On the form list any medical conditions, past injuries, surgeries, allergies, or other health issues so that I may conduct the best massage for you. Together we will arrive at a treatment plan and I will review what you can expect during your session. Medications, drugs, and alcohol can negatively affect your massage experience, so please contact me to find out if any medications you are using might be an issue during your massage.

The Massage Session

After we have discussed your treatment, I will leave the room so that you can undress to your comfort level. Be aware that the more clothing you remove, the greater the benefit. However much clothing you remove is entirely up to you, and the goal is for you to be comfortable. Please remove jewelry as well. Once you are undressed, you may get onto the table and cover yourself thoroughly with the sheet and blanket. I will knock and check to see if you are ready before I enter the room. You will remain covered during the session except for the area I am massaging. A relaxation massage includes the scalp, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, feet, back of legs and back. Be sure to let me know if you would rather a specific area not receive massage.

The session is entirely under your control! If you want to change focus during the session, are not enjoying a given procedure, or if the pressure is too little or too much, please let me know. My goal is to provide you with exactly what you need.
